HAIRY SITUATIONS: BACK TO CREME OF NATURE

So... Let's try this out...
My last blog says I left off on August 9th....So yeah. I washed my hair again with that stuff...right...and then braided my hair in six braids with Jojoba oil. I believe over the course of the next week I oiled my hair with sweet Almond oil and kept rebraiding. Below is a pic from just one of those days
Things I noticed was that my hair........felt like straw! It was just.......not soft. lol And whenever I took down the braids it was frazzled like so

I mean it was kinda cute but......still...that pictured above didn't last long before it just looked like a badly managed fro. My friend was messing with my hair (somebody always is) and she said I remember your hair feeling better, like softer. And I was like...I know. I've been trying this whole all natural route....

Aug 16th

So I was at home and my ma has her own kids hair shop. She mostly does braids (go protective styling!) And I looked at the aubrey organics...then back at the creme of nature...then back at Aubrey Organics and was like fuck it LOL. I got up from this wash like OOOOOO SO MUCH MORE MANAGABLE although...My curls didn't respond like it did with Cantu...(I'll be using Cantu in the morning and I'll let u know what I notice) But it didn't have that squeaky feeling you know. I finger detangled with the Creme of Nature Conditioner and rinsed...noticeably softer. Um then I sprayed with oil sheen and blow dried. I was like......O HAIR HOW I HAVE MISSED YOU!! s/n my hair looked like it'd been cut into layers...interesting. I oiled my scalp with Jojoba oil and went out...the guys I was with was obssessed with my hair. Hehehehe

This is blow dried but after I had taken it down from being braided the previous night.
Over the next week I wore my hair out mostly and braided at night and wore it in a ponytail later in the week as it began curling (from working out and......sweating at night I guess) Now it's a coiled mess.

I've always thought my hair was thick. It's actually fairly thin. It's just when it starts curling...and coiling to my scalp it gives the appearance and flare of thickness. I love all the notes and things I get from reading BGLH but.....I feel like it's too much for me -plus I have to remember I'm taking hair tips from people that have different hair textures than me. I try to stay away from taking tips from those who don't have my hair type.
