Everytime we see or encounter a really bitchy woman we soon hear, "She needs to get laid."
That's exactly what happened at work today. Now granted, one of my managers is a bitch fa real. I wanna smack her myself. One of the guys though said after one of her rants, "Damn she really needs to get laid, Hey *Mike* wanna take one for the team?
I laughed initially. 1. because I think sex is a great remedy to stress. I mean depending on your sexual situation, who ya with, and how good they are. 2. I like sex jokes. 3. I was working in a group of guys. But then I got to thinking.
Everytime we see a powerful woman, especially in a hip hop world, she has earned this space by being hypersexualized. Think Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Foxy Brown, Salt and Pepper, Kat Stacks, Super Head, Beyonce! ......this list could go on and on. Often we see movies were the woman in power is often accused of "screwing her way to the top." Yeah it's the power of the P.U.S.S.Y. but a lot of men (and women) seem to think that's all women have to offer in terms of earning a position of power.
We can't do it solely with intellect, determination, aggressiveness, etc etc...it has to be paired with. SEX. When did Halle Berry earn that first Oscar? When she screwed that one guy...in that one movie. (which I didn't like I tried sitting through that ish but no.) We forget the Oprahs of the world even that one bitch Omorosa got implants. (If you're offended by my use of bitch...Ol well. I've got different feelings about what the word means but to me it's not derogatory. I'd be more offended if people insulted my dedication to my art. Words only have as much power as you allow them to have. That blog coming soon.)
Everyone might could use a little sex but is that really supposed to remedy -calm a woman indefinitely (given that she gets sex on the regular) from biting people's head off? I would hope not actually. That's offensive! Give her some dick man and she'll be alright. WHAT?!?!? No!!! Hell no! Wouldn't you like to believe you were women's God given gift? You can suck a mean one. Hopefully that will put some since in ya head.
