So, as I scanned the tv channels as usual I turned to BET (which i don't normally watch, for many reasons) and being curious I wanted to know what was the newest wretchedness on 106 & Park. And boy oh boy, all i can do is smh....this new artist so-called referred to as "Lil Twist" was on the show, and he was just talking like he been around for a goooooddddd minute! Well maybe he have shit idk, i don't get down wit all that rap crap, especially that "lil" this "young" that...But im just saying WHO IN THE HELL IS LIL TWIST?!....and Y?!....so i did a lil searching just curious how he happened to end up under a night light lol...cuz this is just crazy how these random niggas be popping all out the ass. and so I found this....http://www.sohh.com/2010/03/lil_waynes_young_money_officially_signs.html

Hell why am i in college? Someone tell me! Because I'm really not understanding this concept.....
I mean as i sit and look around and ponder, everyone wants to make it big as a rapper(fyi..i live in a black community)...I'm looking at folks i went to school with from middle school to high school....all now...feeling the need to rap...like are there not other ways to be somebody? This saddens and disgusts me because half of these rappers end up in jail, their music be bitch that, suck her, f that.....can i really define that as music? As u can tell i have veered away from this type of music, and its not that i don't listen to no rap at all. There are some rappers I admire and respect, and there are some where i just like the beat of their song. But describe the majority of rappers' music.
Once again I am here saying I wanna see more from my folks. There are other routes. There are options. I'm all for following your dream....but really? Theres not a space for everyone in that industry. Thats just the way it is. And it is sad to say that the rap world has literally went down down down down.........
