HAIRY SITUATIONS: 3 INCHES SHORTER

WELP. I cut my hair. (note sad face lol)

I severely damaged it last semester trying the whole all natural products, then just cowashing, then back to Cantu.........my hair was a DRY FRAZZLED MESS.

my hair began knotting at the ends......like I had never seen this before. It was terrible!! My hair was breaking like crazy. It even began dredlocking it was so dry. This. was. not. my. texture.

And I would see my bestie's hair looking moisturized and soft -what my ish USED to look like and was like dang we've switched hair lol. It was soooo beautiful. I was like what is she doing with natural products that I'm not doing?

I had to realize I'm a low maintenance chick. Everytime I would try to read folks long regimen's on BGLH my eyes got tired and my attention diverted. I never got through it! ...or when I did.....I was like yeah I'm not doing all that, I don't even want to wash my hair now lol. Folks use way to many products for me.

I went home got it flat ironed and cut. I hadn't seen it that short since...........Freshman year of high school. Two weeks later I came back home had it washed and blow dryed and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOFT. Like too soft. Like strange soft. (pic to the left) I chalked it up to it being flat ironed the previous week like maybe that contributed to it *shoulder shrug* But I tried doing the two braid thing on the side of my head (pic below) and then taking it down for the soft wave pattern (pic below) and an hour later the waves would fall in the abyss of straight. My hair was so soft it was holding nothing. LOL (my mama said ur hair grow fast like you got some white or indian in you...you got some white or indian in you......YOU TELL ME!!! LOL)

before I came back to Madison I had it washed, conditioned blow dryed. Now I didn't watch her the week before but I watched my ma do my hair and when I say NOTHING came out my head...ABSOLUTELY NO HAIR SHEDDED. I posted a video on youtube with so much hair all over the place it was the saddest thing ever. She then combed my hair -no hair. Blow dryed -no hair. Ummmmmmmmmmm...........whenever I did it my hair would be all over the bathroom! I thought it was just natural hair shedding. What was I doing wrong? I don't even wanna touch my hair. I kinda wanna leave it to my mom. But she's in Chicago. I am here. In Madison. Not to mention my hair is so soft it won't even braid well. It's like trying to braid a white girl hair. I'm laughing but I'm serious. This ish just keep coming down. Anyway yeah this is where I'm at. O and I'm using Creme of Nature -again
